Scholar Preferences link has disappeared from Google Scholar: implications for bibliographic management

Hello all,

Unfortunately, the Scholar Preferences link appears to have disappeared from Google Scholar. This feature was instrumental to research pursuits, particularly as it allowed for the direct export of Google Scholar citations directly into a bibliographic software program (i.e. RefWorks).

The Google forum has been contacted regarding this issue. Updates will be provided as soon as more information is gained.

    I have just heard back from Google. Scholar Preferences has been placed under the Option icon (what looks like a gear/snowflake on the upper right-hand corner of the Sign In link). When clicking on the "gear", a dropdown menu appears with the Scholar Preferences link. Although well-hidden, it is there again.
